The past 3 weeks have been so filled with excitement, loss, sadness, gain, craziness, exasperation, and change. Although we are settling in to it all, I’m still a little anxious about what is to come.
Let me share with you some of the EXCITING stuff that has been happening.
We got a new (used) couch. We bought it from a friend and it is in EXCELLENT condition. They must have only used it for decoration, that’s how great it looks!
Some good friends of my in-laws blessed us with a gift card to Home Depot and it helped us to afford the rug I had my eye on.
And as of today, half of the boxes in our house have been unpacked and put away , thanks to my hubby and some encouraging friends.
Now to unpack the other half of the boxes and get the garage cleared out. Hubby brought every single piece of Christmas decoration that was stored at his parents because he wanted to make sure that we got all OUR decorations. He is a fanatic about decorating the house at Christmas time.
I have some pallets in my garage that I want to use to make a table for the little foyer area that we have because it most definitely won’t fit in the living area. We shall see what they become. It will be my next “project”.
I love me some Whataburger but I am not really a lover of ketchup. I do however like it out of the bottle rather than a packet.
See you on Thursday!
