Today, I hosted my HP Houseparty. Didn’t have quite the turn out as I would have liked but it still happened and I think the Houseparty peeps will be happy.

This isn’t my official blog post for that or anything, it’s just part of what happened today.

This evening we went to we Thor The Dark World. Loved it! Then we came home and started brining our test drive turkey.

Made the brine before we headed to the movies and when we got home it was cool enough to use. Then poured it in a really big pot. (It’s actually a tamale steaming pot- we have a 22lb turkey that doesn’t fit in a five gallon bucket)

I’m very excited to roast it tomorrow and share it with some friends!
