Try it Out Thursday

Try It Out Thursday is dedicated to recipes or ideas that I find on Pinterest or receive in my e-mail. I tend to “pin” and save a lot of recipes & craft ideas and never try them so I decided that this will help me wade through the many pins and e-mails that I have.

For some time now, I have wanted to make Lavender cookies!

I read somewhere that lemon goes well with Lavender. The lemon really balances the flowery taste of the lavender and leaves this amazing aftertaste!

At first, I wasn’t sold on THAT idea but after tasting these beauties, I am convinced! You need to be convinced too and you know what that means? It means you need to go Mayas Ingredients for Food Lovers and make these Lavender Cookies!!!

Last minute, I decided that I wanted to make them sandwich cookies. At first I wasn’t sure how to go about that but then I found From Calculus to Cupcakes and this Lemony Crème goodness!

Yes, I meshed two recipes together!

I love the next picture because you can see the lemon zest in the creme!

The lemons that I used for the sweet lemon creme were GINORMOUS!!!

These cookies were AMAZING!

I WILL make them again.

As for something a little more interesting.

I am currently researching the Texas Cottage Law.
